Birthday Parties

1. Q: What kind of foods can we bring in?
   A: Pizza, sandwiches, ice cream, cake, cupcakes, and fruit trays are all ok to bring to your party.
2. Q: What if my child has a food allergy?
   A: Please call the office directly to address this issue.
3. Q: Can we bring our own decorations?
   A: Absolutely! Just let the staff member you are booking your party with know in advance. Please keep in mind that we do not allow glitter, confetti, silly string, or balloons as décor.
4. Q: There will be guests (family members, siblings, etc.) that won’t be skating. Do they pay?
   A: Only those who will be skating will have to pay.
5. Q: When we are not in our party room, where are our belongings kept while we skate?
   A: Your belongings will be stored in a secure area.
6. Q: Can we reschedule our lesson if we miss it?
   A: We cannot guarantee a new lesson time if you miss yours. You may ask your party hostess and she can find out if your coach is still available.
7. Q: Is the birthday child included as one of the 10 guests in the party?
   A: Yes.
8. Q: What if there are more than 10 children in the party?
   A: You pay for a minimum of 10. Any additional guests are paid for the day of the party.
9. Q: What if I do not know how many guests will be at the party?
   A: You pay for a minimum of 10. Any additional guests are paid for the day of the party.
10. Q: Can I have the party room for longer than 1 hour?
    A: Due to clean up and set up times for upcoming parties, the room time is limited to 1 hour.
11. Q: Is one hour a long enough time in the party room?
    A: One hour is plenty of time to open gifts, eat food, sing Happy Birthday, and have cake and ice cream.
12. Q: May we continue to eat cake, pizza, etc. and open our gifts after we are out of our private room?
    A: Unfortunately there are no areas for this activity; all other areas are open to the general public and we do not allow parties to be conducted in these areas.
13. Q: Is there a place to store our food while we are skating?
    A: Yes, we have storage (both warm and cold) available for use before or after your party.
14. Q: I want to bring in an ice cream cake. Do you have a place to store it?
    A: Yes! We do have a freezer to store your ice cream cake. Keep in mind that our freezer measures 12.5” x 16”, so the cake, and container, cannot exceed this.
15. Q: Do you send out invitations?
    A: We do not have this as an option as we cannot guarantee delivery through the post office or e-mail.
16. Q: If we need to reschedule the entire party, may we do so and is there a charge?
    A: Yes, you may reschedule your party if needed. There is no fee to do this, but we ask for as much notice as possible.
