IN-HOUSE YOUTH HOCKEY

Learn To Play Hockey

Do you want to learn how to play ice hockey like the Fresno Falcons? Where do you think the pros got their start? In an ice rink somewhere just like this one.

Gateway Ice Center has a youth ice hockey class every Monday night, 6:20pm-7:20pm. The coach teach skating, puck control, passing, shooting and the basics of the game. This class is open to boys and girls of all ages. No helmet, stick or gloves? No problem. We supply them!!! Cost of this class is $15.00 for one hour.

House League

Do you want to be on a team? Then you want to be in Gateway Ice Centers In-House League!! We have teams in all age brackets that play on weekends. This program runs approximately 14 weeks and includes a practice and a game every week. The In-House program is run by former Fresno Falcon Glenn Heintz. The goals of the In-House program are to develop an increased awareness in our community for youth hockey, develop the players by teaching them advanced techniques and team play and develop the player to advance in to the travel program. Plus it's great exercise and a lot of fun. The cost of the league depends on when you join. League dues are pro rated depending on the number of games played in the league. If you would like more information about youth hockey at Gateway, please feel free to contact us by filling out information on our request information page and someone will be in contact with you.
