Learn To Skate Wednesdays
Learn to Skate is an excellent way for your child to learn the basics of skating in a safe and fun environment, whether they plan on going into figure skating, playing hockey or simply want to skate for fun! Gateway Ice teaches the Learn to Skate USA program that start at beginner then advances to our Aspire Academy giving skaters the attention they need to progress. We have programs for everyone starting at age 3 years through Adults.
Our Advanced Academy is designed to advance skaters that have completed Basic 1-5 in a rotating curriculum:
- Develop creative and technical moves
- Foundational skills, jumps & spins
- Learn choreography
- A perfect bridge program for the skater that wants to advance as a figure skater.

CLASS POLICY: THERE ARE NO CREDITS OR REFUNDS. 2 MAKEUPS CAN BE MADE DURING THE 2 MONTH SEMESTER. MAKE UPS REQUIRE APPROVAL FROM THE SKATING DIRECTOR.

- 30 minutes of class followed by
- 30 minutes of unsupervised practice on Wednesdays
