Stick Times
"Stick time" (or "Stick and Puck") refers to open ice sessions where hockey players of all ages and skill levels can practice skating, puck handling, and shooting in a non-structured, "open gym" style environment. Unlike organized games or scrimmages, these sessions are designed for individual skill development.
Session Rules & Features:
- Skill Development: Players can work on passing, shooting, skating, and drills at their own pace.
- Equipment: Full hockey gear is not required, although helmets are required to be on the ice. Sticks and pucks must be supplied by the skater.
- No Scrimmages: Scrimmages or one on one play by 3 or more players is prohibited. Skaters will be asked to leave the ice if this rule is not followed.
- Age Limits: Skaters 9 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.
- Payment: Session must be paid for prior to entering the ice. Any one on the ice without payment will be banned from all future sessions.
- SHOOTING OF PUCKS AT THE GLASS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. SUCH ACTION WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM THE ICE. PLAYERS ARE RESPONABLE FOR BROKEN GLASS RESULTING IN A $850.00 CHARGE FOR REPLACEMENT.
Stick Times
Stick times are a practice session open to all ages and levels. Helmets, sticks and gloves are required. You must supply your own pucks. Session is limited to practice only or private coaching. No scrimmaging allowed or skaters will be removed from the ice if it occurs.
Sessions must be paid for in advance online. There is no one at the counter to collect money. If a skater enters the ice without paying, they will be banned from all sessions. THIS RULE IS STRICTLY ENFORCED.
